As a Testing Associate I within the Client Onboarding and Documentation (CO&D) Operations team at JPMorganChase, you will play an integral role in the build out of the test automation services required for accelerating change program delivery. As an experienced Testing Associate Automation Engineer, you will work in partnership with Project Managers, Technology and with other members on the Testing team to define, design and strategic roll out of an automated testing solution. You will join a team focused on change delivery across products and help deliver test automation required for accelerating change program delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ability to work independently to deliver QA automation solutions to our team using agile methodology.
  • Day-to-day responsibility of leading the testing effort for assigned user stories covering analysis of user stories along with its impact on existing functionalities.
  • Communicates with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates
  • Partner with project team / end users/stakeholders to understand / document goals, scope, and business objectives in order to develop / enhance / maintain QA automation suites
  • Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards
  • Design and implement an effective, best of breed solution to automate, capture, collate, store and maintain real time test data for purpose of validation, measuring progress and performance in change delivery.
  • Working closely with our product partners to help estimate the team's backlog and refine stories needed to deliver QA automation solution

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Must possess minimum 5 years of experience delivering Quality Assurance (QA) automation solutions operating in a high velocity team
  • Must possess minimum 5 years of experience with hands on automation testing, developing and executing automated test scripts using Automated Testing Tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Groovy, Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
  • Must possess minimum 5 years of experience with agile development (preferably SAFe), / Test Driven Development (TDD) methodology or test case automation
  • Strong technical expertise in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) Selectors and Xpath
  • Good to have experience in Robotics Process Automation tools like WinAutomation, UI Path, etc.
  • Ability to self-manage issues/programs of varying complexity and spur business goals forward
  • Proficient problem solving skills and ability to rapidly learn unfamiliar processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field or the foreign equivalent required
  • Knowledge of agile development

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience of working with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins preferred (expert)
  • Able to write VB & Java scripting and Python / JAVA code experience preferred

*This position offers a hybrid model scheduling system with 3 days a week from office and 2 days a week from home (subject to change in future)
