As a Testing Associate within our team, you will design and develop a suite of tests to support user acceptance, ensuring that all testing activities align with the overall testing phase and effort. You will perform test preparation, execute tests, document outcomes, and log defects to maintain the integrity of the testing process. Additionally, you will validate and verify that testing deliverables are on track and being met, providing clear and timely communication to the tech project manager or overall program manager. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality and success of our projects through meticulous testing and effective collaboration.

Job Responsibilities:
- Gain a clear understanding of the required testing effort based on business requirements and design specifications.
- Prepare the testing approach plan, defining the scope, scale, tasks, dependencies, and participants required.
- Collaborate with the technical team on environmental and testing data requirements before the user testing phase.
- Review system testing plans for scope and coverage, providing input on additional tests to be included.
- Ensure the testing team allocation is sufficient in number and experience, and that all test cases/scripts cover functional, regression, and negative testing scenarios.
- Verify that scripts are fully traceable to business requirements and arrange peer reviews of test cases/scripts.
- Assign relevant testing activities to team members, ensuring they have sufficient work during the testing phase.
- Execute test scripts as per the test plan and resource allocation, and monitor new requirements and change requests.
- Act as a point of contact between Technology and Testers, organizing testing status meetings and tracking testing activities.
- Escalate testing issues to the testing manager and provide information on defect prioritization and impact.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Assume ownership of problems and see them through to resolution, making appropriate decisions where necessary.
- You must have 5+ years of experience
- You must hold a Bachelor's degree or above
- Demonstrate good project management and test planning skills.
- Break down problems/situations logically into their essential parts and draw reasonable conclusions based on analysis.
- Identify issues, problems, and opportunities, determining whether action is needed and taking appropriate action proactively.
- Communicate at all levels in a clear, concise, and fluent manner, escalating problems and issues in a timely manner.
- Manage stakeholders effectively, including Product, Operations, PMO, QA, and UAT leads.
- Utilize strong PC and analytical skills, with knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and automation tools.
- Write automated tests and understand common defect and data-management tools, with advanced knowledge of software lifecycles and test automation strategies.
- Work effectively with teams and stakeholders to develop relationships and achieve common goals, demonstrating proficiency in a business function and understanding the broader business context.
