Technology Support Lead, Payments Technology - Vice President

As a Technology Support Lead in Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Technology, under the Payments Technology team, you will play a leadership role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production services. Critical thinking while overseeing day-to-day maintenance of the firm's systems will be key and set you up for success as you navigate tasks related to identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure a seamless user experience.

•   Lead teams of technologists that provide end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery for the successful business operations of the firm

•   Execute policies and procedures that ensure operational stability and availability

•   Monitor production environments for anomalies, address issues, and drive evolution of utilization of standard observability tools

•   Escalate and communicate issues and solutions to the business and technology stakeholders, actively participating from incident resolution to service restoration

•   Lead incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure

•   Provide L1 technical support for global and regional applications, working as a face-off between business teams (Sales, Product, Operations and Client services) and technology teams

•   Support technology related matter during Audits and regulatory inspections.

•   Collaborate with Production Management teams across APAC branches and global PM Leads on Stability initiatives, stakeholder management.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

•   Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

•   Minimum 10 years of proven technology experience managing complex client demand, driving technology solutions and meeting business and client expectations in an Application Support role

•   Experience managing applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud

•   Proficient in observability and monitoring tools and techniques

•   Experience executing on processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework

•   Technical Skillset: Unix / Linux technologies, Shell scripting, PowerShell, Python, Oracle / SQL, Cassandra

•   Monitoring tools (ITRS Geneos/ Grafana/ Datadog/ Dynatrace)

•   Messaging frameworks, Kafka, MQ

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

•   Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting

•   Practical experience with public cloud, AWS Certification is a plus.

•   Experience working in banking and payment domain: High and low value payment, SWIFT, Real time payment, collection, cheque clearing, tax payment, partner bank system

•   Strong collaborator with ability to foster relationships effectively with diverse groups across geographies.

•   Adaptable and able to multi-task, handling complex requirements.

•   Program management skills preferred.

•   Flexible to extend on weekends if required.

•   Proficiency in local language verbal and written communication.
