As a Technology Support III team member in our Commercial Bank, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. We value a culture of continuous improvement, and you will be at the forefront of this, troubleshooting, maintaining, and resolving service interruptions. Your work will contribute to a seamless user experience across all our internally and externally developed systems.

Job responsibilities

  • Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm
  • Supports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm's systems to ensure operational stability and availability
  • Assist in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools
  • Identify issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholders
  • Analyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure
  • Research and troubleshoot application issues and identify resolution and/or escalate incidents
  • Participate and ensure RCA (root cause analysis) activities on impacting incidents are executed, action items are assigned and ensure permanent closure of incidents
  • Take proactive actions in support of better SLA's (service level objectives), opportunities for continuous improvement of the stability and performance of the applications
  • Participate to drive strategic change, both within your team as well as in collaboration with team members across the firm and vendor partners
  • Understand business requirements and firmwide technology requirements and collaborate with the technology team (internal and/or external) to meet these requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
  • Experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques
  • Experience in one or more of the following Programing language (Java), SQL, Oracle, data modeling and data integration architecture
  • Experience in data models and ability to query from system of records (data warehouse)
  • Understanding of API's and experience with SoapUI, Postman or Swagger
  • Experience in the SDLC methodology including Agile and release management
  • Efficient and effective communication skills , ability to articulate to internal and external teams including the business, stakeholders and vendors
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills including research and data literacy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
  • Support all relevant technologies, follow all Chase standards, practices, processes, collaborate with the team and interact with external teams, vendors, and business product owners.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting
  • Working understanding of public cloud
