Morgan Chase Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Technology recognizes the strategic importance of Asia Pacific not only as a revenue generator but as a critical engine room for delivery of technology services across Markets, Investor Services and Banking. ASEAN (Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Philippines) is a key market within the region and the firm is hiring Application Production support associate for Payments Technology based in Singapore. As an Application Support Specialist working within a Production Management team, you will be responsible for technical support of production applications.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Act as the primary liaison between technology and the business (Sales, Product, Operations, and Client Services).
- Supporting Incident Management and recovery of incidents affecting the applications.
- Support day-to-day technology related matters for Payment business and key external partners (regulatory bodies, partner banks and vendors).
- Accurately following processes associated with support tools e.g. Incident, Change and Problem management based on ITIL best practices
- Ensure the health status of the systems.
- Investigate and resolution of application processing queries raised by the business.
- Execution of application disaster recovery plans.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- Experience in application support, networking and infrastructure knowledge (Linux/Unix, Windows, IBM-MQ, Tomcat/IBM Websphere, SFTP, SSL, etc.)
- Experience in monitoring / alerting and batch / job, e.g., Splunk, Grafana, PowerShell, Bash, ITRS Geneos
- Knowledge in Banking domain especially in Banking landscape is desirable. (High Value Payment, Low Value Payment, SWIFT, Real Time Payment, Collection, Cheque Clearing, Tax Payment, Partner Bank system, etc.)
- Proven Self-starter with initiative, accountability, and ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with local, regional, and/or global teams.
- Adaptable and able to multi-task, handling complex requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering is desirable.
- Fluent verbal and written English skills as you will be working 100% in English.
