As a Technology Support II team member in Infrastructure Platforms group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Your efforts in troubleshooting, maintaining, identifying, escalating, and resolving production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems support a seamless user experience and a culture of continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic technology solutions, ensuring the successful integration of network system and applications servers into existing and new technology infrastructures
  • Support the day-to-day technology operations of JPMorgan Chase mission critical data centers
  • Maintain operational stability and handle customer requests while working on shifts to support the 24x7 operation
  • Be responsible for installing and configuring enterprise class technology hardware, troubleshooting hardware and network issues, maintain change control process in the data center, and support third party vendor activities

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent and 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
  • Understanding of data center concepts (space, power, cooling)
  • Working knowledge of physical IT infrastructure (server, networking, storage)
  • Understanding of network concepts (switching, routing, perimeter security)
  • Experience with physical layer infrastructure and testing tools (racking, cabling)
  • Advanced infrastructure project, operations systems and data analytics knowledge
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following: Microsoft Office, VPN, Virtual Machines, Remote Connectivity products, Security
  • Able to execute within a customer-centric environment
