As a Lead Technical Program Manager for Strategic Funds Control (Liquidity & Account Services), you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for delivering innovative solutions, while simultaneously centrally collating, tracking and reporting on program resources, budgets, risks and issues. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Job responsibilities

  • Build close collaborative relationships across the Projects and their stakeholders that form the programme.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive programme plans, ensuring on-time delivery of technology solutions across the programme roadmap.
  • Establish centralized reporting views that align with various reporting requirements and channels.
  • Provide a centralized view of Risks & Issues across the programme, ensuring visibility to a wider stakeholder group and tracking mitigation plans to dates, while supporting and facilitating escalation pathways.
  • Maintain a centralized view of cross-partner impacts, status of engagements, and delivery timelines to meet the programme roadmap.
  • Implement centralized tracking of resource capacity versus demand, effectively highlighting risks and gaps.
  • Identify process improvements and ensure standards are adhered to across the Programme.
  • Contribute to the evolution of PMO/Agile best practices and mentor junior team members.
  • Utilize analytical reasoning to assess program performance and implement data-driven optimizations.
  • Champion agile methodologies and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in technical program management, leading complex projects in a large organization.
  • Advanced experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) for execution and delivery.
  • Advanced experience in managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in an agile environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Influencing, negotiation and conflict management skill.
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients, networking ability across the organization.
  • Team player with the ability to multi-task.
  • Initiative, proactive approach, ownership, and responsibility.
  • Attention to detail, results-oriented, and delivery-focused.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience of programme delivery in a Finance / Banking environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
