As a Technical Project Manager III at JPMorgan Chase within the Equities Trading Technology Organization, you will help lead complex technology projects and programs that drive business goals and create value for clients, employees, and stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our global platform for market data, orders, and execution meets the highest industry standards around performance, safety, and compliance. This high-performance platform is central to our business, serving internal traders, quants, and external clients globally, and holds high degree of visibility within the organization. In this role, you will collaborate with Engineering Directors & Technical Leads to understand requirements & propose solutions to address infrastructure and compliance needs. You will ensure that tasks are accurately represented in sprint planning and oversee platform fixes and upgrades. Additionally, you will be instrumental in driving compliance with safety and regulatory standards and direct platform updates. A strong technical aptitude is essential, as you will need to understand the entire application stack and identify critical points for migrations and key deliveries.

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with technical team leads across each region, compliance, and infrastructure teams to ensure tasks are properly represented in sprint planning.
  • Propose solutions to address technical requirements and oversee platform fixes and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards and direct platform updates.
  • Engage with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions and support the implementation of cloud migration solutions and new technology frameworks.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team, ensuring the platform remains high-performing, reliable, and capable of handling real-time and historical data.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management, with a focus on technology infrastructure and compliance.
  • Good understanding of platform integration, regulatory compliance, and cloud solutions in a financial services environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering results on time.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
  • Technical aptitude to understand the entire application stack and identify critical points for migrations and key deliveries.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Experience and/or industry knowledge of Data & Analytics suite of products like Data warehouses, ETL tools, business intelligence software will be a plus
