As a Tech Risk & Controls Associate in Corporate & Investment Bank, Securities Services Technology, you will be a part of a team that supports the implementation of risk mitigation strategies, controls and action plans for the firm. - Assist in monitoring technology risks, ensuring compliance with firm standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Facilitate and drive complex Data center Major events and cloud projects from the early stage of initiation to final implementation.
- Create, maintain and communicate a detailed and organized technical project plan that documents delivery milestones, decisions, and risks.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes
- Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle
- Provide structure and guidance to your projects portfolio to ensure focus on key priorities.
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with technology partners, business including internal teams
- Demonstrate ability to document, produce executive reports and provide regular updates to senior leadership. Learn and Understand Resiliency and Regulatory risk with a view to close the gaps.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technology risk management, information security, or a related field
- Proficient in risk identification, assessment, and control evaluation, with a strong understanding of industry standards
- Certification in one of the technology domains - Cloud - AWS, Unix, MCSE, VMWARE. Experience in technical program management capacity delivering complex technology projects and programs in a large organization.
- Experience delivering complex projects involving multiple delivery teams, from start to finish, with a thorough understanding of agile Software Development Lifecycle and agile methodologies. Experience working with engineering and delivery teams, with a good understanding of delivery methodologies and release management processes. Demonstrate good understanding of modern technologies, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, develop risk mitigation strategies, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Exposure to risk management frameworks, regulations, and industry best practices
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or other industry-recognized risk certifications
- Experience of managing varied and innovative projects within Financial Technology firms, preferably within a financial organization.
- Resiliency/Regulatory exposure and Knowledge of Disaster Recovery failover, Release management, Deployment strategies in a large organization.
- Exposure to Gremlin/FIS will be an advantage.
