As a Tech Risk & Controls Associate within the Tech Risk & Controls Team, you will take charge of the design, implementation, and upkeep of controls and risk management frameworks. Your role will involve ensuring that the designed and implemented controls operate in accordance with firm, regulatory, legal, and industry standards. Being a part of this team, you will be aligned to the Chief Technology Office (CTO) within Enterprise Technology (ET), playing a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, overseeing, monitoring, and reporting compliance and operational risk in line with the firm's standards.

You will be engaged into such duties as to encompass end-to-end requirements, plan and execute of work-inclusive of design, test execution, and implementation. In order to be a successful candidate, you have to possess strong analytical problem-solving skills, be an expert using Alteryx, with strong prioritization and time management skills. Our team harvests, cleans, and analyzes data to develop reports, notifications and visualizations/dashboards for Lines of Business (LOBs) and Corporate Functions (CFs) across the enterprise.

Job responsibilities

  • Harvests data from existing APIs
  • Validates, scrubs, standardizes, and blends incoming data
  • Collaborates with stakeholders, as appropriate, to build Metrics, Notifications and Visualizations
  • Updates & maintains user-facing documentation via Confluence pages (e.g. report logic & definitions, process diagrams, how-to instructions, etc.)
  • Gathers and documents business requirements and required methodology steps via JIRA

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience using Alteryx and Tableau, along with MS Office (specifically Excel), JIRA and Confluence
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated basic project and effective time management skills (goal setting, planning, prioritizing, scheduling) with attention to detail, results orientation, and a focus on efficiency
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills for use across multiple audiences
  • Ability to partner with internal stakeholders and tech areas to drive projects
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good understanding of best practices in project management
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, results driven environment
