The Business Growth and Entrepreneurship (BG&E) pillar, as part of the Office of DEI, is responsible for driving impact by advancing underrepresented business owners' access to capital, connections and education through three teams: Traditional Businesses, High-Growth Businesses, and Investors and Executives. Each of these teams is aligned with lines of business partners and their customer segments.

In this role as a Vice President for the Business Growth and Entrepreneurship (BG&E) pillar within DEI, you will be responsible for developing new innovative go-to-market strategies on the High-Growth Businesses team. This will include understanding the entrepreneurial ecosystem, understanding the distinct needs of underrepresented high-growth founders, conducting market research, building relationships with line of business (LOB) partners and external stakeholders, and executing the strategy by leading, managing, and optimizing new programs and/or initiatives.

You will report to the head of the High-Growth Businesses team within the BG&E group, and will work across the lifecycle of programs including planning, analysis, and rollout. You will also play a critical role in supporting the development of new and enhanced programs through collaborations with other internal stakeholders including other DEI BG&E sub-teams, Centers of Excellence within DEI, Corporate Responsibility, Global Supplier Diversity, LOBs, and external partners.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage programs and initiatives that address the needs of underrepresented high-growth founders across different communities. This includes:
    • Developing new, intersectional, and innovative go-to-market strategies and initiatives with meaningful outcomes for our target audience (e.g., increased revenue, investor meetings, successful investment raises, etc.)
    • Assessing feasibility of expanding existing programs and identifying additional partners who can reach underrepresented high-growth founders
  • Research and understand the needs, pain points, opportunities and landscape of high-growth businesses and entrepreneurship across life-cycle, and understand the internal resources available to support them
  • Cultivate stakeholder relationships within DEI, LOB partners, and entrepreneurial ecosystem partners in order to effectively support high-growth founders
  • Maintain a strong controls environment by adhering to risk/control expectations, procedures and processes
  • Monitoring ongoing program deliverables and partner responsibilities, identifying gaps and proposing solutions

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Strategy, research, and expertise: Knowledge of the entrepreneur ecosystem. Ability to research new opportunities and develop a strategy for reaching more founders and creating solutions that benefit multiple communities
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written); strong ability to articulate concepts and translate content into executive level presentations that can be delivered to stakeholders at all levels internally and externally. Strong note-taking skills to leverage for meeting minutes and status reporting
  • Relationship Management: Strong relationship management and collaboration skills to be leveraged across a firmwide, global network; ability to build new partnerships and influence others
  • Teamwork: Outstanding partnership and collaboration skills that center around promoting a shared purpose, instilling trust and fostering teamwork across functions, businesses, and regions at all levels in the organization.
  • Tools and systems: Demonstrated intermediate or advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Program Management: 6+ years of program management experience supporting large, complex projects and programs. Candidate should demonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Decision-making and ownership: Shows high degree of independent decision-making, and ability to prioritize and use sound judgement. Displays an ownership mindset and willingness to own projects and issues from end-to-end
