DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Leverage creative analytical problem solving skills while efficiently using large data sets from a broad range of sources. Design, execute and interpret statistical analyses to drive insights and strategy. Query enterprise databases to obtain relevant data for analysis. Work with Product Risk managers and other stakeholders to support new strategy and product development and monitoring. Write summary documentation of analyses performed for both technical and non-technical audiences within the firm. Present results to peers and higher levels of management. Share advanced machine learning and execution knowledge with team members as new techniques are discovered to solve analytical problems. Compile and present on key risk indicators to understand the health of business. Optimize and streamline the overall reporting infrastructure and ecosystem.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Data Analysis, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Management Information Systems, or related field of study plus 6 months of experience in the job offered or as an Associate Strategic Analytics, Credit Risk Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Management Information Systems, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Associate Strategic Analytics, Credit Risk Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: creating pivot tables using Excel; Control-M Scheduling; AutoSys Scheduling; creating tickets using JIRA; managing deliverables using JIRA; creating dashboards using Tableau; SQL/SAS based tools needed for extracting, transforming, and analyzing big data; and extracting business insights from complex data structures.
