As a Sr. Software Release Product Delivery Manager in the Omnichannel & Biometrics Product Delivery Team, you will work to enhance and optimize the way products are delivered to customers. As a key member of the team, you create solutions and efficiencies that enable successful implementations in an expedient and organized way.

Job responsibilities

  • Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
  • Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
  • Manage all application and documentation hand-offs from Tech to Production and ensure successful operational readiness activities are initiated downstream. You will be the conduit between Tech and our Product Management, Estate Management, Logistics, and Development teams
  • Effectively create and maintain a software release process following Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) principles to ensure proper software delivery and impact assessments for all merchants. Validate all software loads and dependencies to ensure we can effectively install a full, upgrade, or hotfix build without issues or dependencies
  • Responsible for coordinating and planning the payment application, SDK, and related software component releases during tech release windows which typically happen during off hours. Further planning and coordination with the Estate Management and Product Specialist Groups will be required.
  • Own all software tracking to ensure application fixes or enhancements are delivered meeting merchant expectations and defined SLAs. Verify all testing and related dependencies have been completed and provide sign off once all issues and enhancements have been resolved and delivered as expected by stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
  • Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
  • Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
  • Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
  • Strong knowledge of payment applications and terminal programming. Familiarity with Terminal Management Systems and software release best practices. Strong understanding of all related payment application components and dependencies such as key injection, upgrades, compatibility, hardware dependencies, configuration dependencies, and performance monitoring

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven track record with multi-faceted payment platform implementations for large and mid-tier enterprise businesses
  • Experience with a unique blend of product management, release management, project management, product data analytics, and implementation management
  • Experience and knowledge of onboarding tools/systems and fulfillment requirements
