As a Lead Software Engineer and Full Stack Developer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector's AI/ML & Data Platforms - Fusion Analytics team, you will collaborate in an agile environment to enhance and develop technology products. Your focus will be on creating and delivering high-quality products that are secure, stable, and scalable. This role provides exposure to cutting-edge technology, including applications that offer clients extensive and customizable portfolio analytics.
Job Responsibilities:
- Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
- Develops secure high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
- Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience with Java server-side development.
- Financial industry experience.
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and ideally React front end development.
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience, ideally with AWS
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Working knowledge of finance and financial instruments
- Working knowledge of performance or risk analytics
