As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Workforce Technology Team, specifically the Employee Platforms Team, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm's state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role.

Job responsibilities
- Maintain business processes, including configuration documents, JIRA practices, and SR tracking.
- Consult and sustain HCM Talent Management, Core HR, and ORC.
- Leverage Oracle OTBI and HDL/HSDL experience.
- Provide clear and concise communication, responding in a timely manner.
- Ensure security and release processes are followed to reduce risk.
- Protect and maintain data privacy and regulations.
- Actively apply lessons learned to limit PROD defects and collaborate with Oracle on Service Requests and Customer Connect.
- Review Oracle release notes in advance and conduct impact analysis.
- Meet design deliverables and deadlines with consistent follow-through and independent work.
- Complete functional testing of enhancements to minimize defects.
- Quickly problem-solve and identify root causes.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Possess formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 2+ years of applied experience.
- Work effectively in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Demonstrate passion for building an innovative culture.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Talent Management.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Exposure to Oracle HCM
- Btech background preferred
