DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, program, code and analyze new mobile applications and data structures in accordance with specifications and user needs. Write, update, and maintain mobile applications to handle specific jobs such as tracking inventory, storing, or retrieving data, or controlling other equipment. Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced. Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of mobile applications, subject matter, and symbolic logic. Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of application systems software as a systems programmer. Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct. Ensure that code adheres to strict standards for accessibility, scalability, usability, security, object-oriented practices, and performance. Hybrid mobile code development. Analyze and resolve complex technical problems related to applications; manage interfaces, service levels, standards, and configurations. Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes. Serve as a Team Lead in the development of iOS application. Work with teams across geographical locations. Create work estimates based on technology concepts and requirements documentation. Participate in a digital technology project from concept to implementation, and through all phases of the software development lifecycle. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study or as Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, or related occupation plus 7 years of experience in the job offered. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, or related occupation.
