DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Provide end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm. Support the day-to-day maintenance of the firm's systems to ensure operational stability and availability. Assist in monitoring production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools. Identify issues for escalation, communicate, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholders. Analyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incidents, problems, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure. Provide training to team members on application management and business support. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions align to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Engineering Specialist, IT Consultant, IT Project Associate, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Requires six (6) months experience with the following: Using IMActions and IMAnalytics, GOS, Websphere and Apache Tomcat for Asset Servicing business solutions and user support; Geneos; Autosys; GOS; experience with Unix commands and shell scripting for Production support of Trade and Settlement business; CDC,DB2,AMPS, and UMQ for migration of mainframe flow to distributed systems; JMeter used for performance testing of solutions; Bitbucket; GIT; Jenkins and Jules used for CI/CD pipeline for code releases; Blueprint for infrastructure set up and pave/repave of servers; JPA; Hibernate; Kafka; Hazelcast; Gemfire; JMS; REST; O-Auth; Micro-services; Terraform; using GVP for engineering solution development.
