DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design and code for innovative solutions to solve business problems. Write code for highly scalable, microservices, microfrontend based applications. Primarily responsible for the delivery of software as an agile team member. Champion leveraging modern technologies. Responsible for all aspects of technology delivery. Build and maintain relationships with business and technology team members. Triage technical issues and work toward solving problems. Contribute to the team's migration to a cloud-based architecture. Provide support during incidents. Determination of root cause of incidents. Re-creation, analysis, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of incidents. Promote strong controls to evaluate, manage and conduct new and existing business by adhering to risk and control expectations, procedures and processes. Provide support for applications during multiple releases, ensuring that service is delivered in an uninterrupted manner. Work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Java Developer, Software Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Java Developer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Application Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; J2EE; NodeJS; HTML; Java; Javascript; Angular; React; Kubernetes; Dynatrace; Splunk; GIT; Junit; Performance Testing; Unit Testing; GITHUB; Maven; JMeter; Blazemeter; Apache; Database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, or Amazon RDS; Designing and building REST web services; Linux; Unix; Windows; Agile; SDLC; and Cloud technologies & patterns such as AWS or Cloud Foundry.
Job Location: 8181 Communications Parkway, Plano, TX 75024. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
