DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Architect, design, develop and test robust software applications in the space of Cyber Security and enterprise resiliency. Work on cyber security domain data attributes and create automated data driven solutions with data integration and effective algorithms for calculating and evaluating Risk and Compliance for Cyber Security of a financial institution. Attend compliance controls requirement gathering session, analyze and identify business needs followed by the creation of corresponding technical design and implementation plan. Participate in Proof-of-Concept and associated reviews of new compliance evaluation product. Support review of controls to ensure sufficient protection of enterprise data. Perform data extract, transform, and load from multiple source systems for Cyber compliance metrics and implement process ensuring data quality, integrity, and security across all data processes. Administrate SQL Server databases, write complex SQL queries and stored procedures and test following SDLC methodologies. Implement custom configuration changes using internal or external tools to generate a product per the business or customer request. Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets for efficient data publication to audience with multiple needs. Develop Optimized solutions for performance and scalability. Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure reliability and efficiency. Document data engineering processes, methodologies, and workflows. Communicating analytical findings to senior leaders through data visualization and storytelling. Publish and maintain secure and high-quality production code and algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's Degree in Statistics, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, ETL Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Hybrid SDLC; SQL; REST; User Acceptance Testing; Scenario-based resiliency testing designed to safeguard delivery of an institution's services while maintaining global, legal and regulatory requirements within established risk tolerances; Architecture, design, development, testing of robust software applications; Utilizing version control tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket or TFS; Designing and developing ETL processes and data pipelines from various type of sources (JSON, Excel, flat files, API and Other databases) using SSIS and Python through established identity and access management processes; Data Integration, data validation, data cleansing and Error handling to ensure data quality; Effective error handling for data quality involving detecting, logging, analyzing, fixing, preventing, and communicating issues to ensure accurate and reliable data from upstream sources; Using technical skills including SQL, SSIS, and Python for handling data quality issues in data validation, monitoring tools, data cleaning techniques, root cause analysis, scripting with Python and SQL, and using logging and incident management tools such as Splunk; Data warehousing principles, data modelling, designing and maintaining data structures and schemas in the database to align with business requirements; SQL Server database administration, writing complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures and testing following SDLC methodologies; ETL code performance tuning; optimizing, managing, and maintaining the code base and modernizing using the latest technologies ensuring interoperability with other systems; Agile software development environment using JIRAs; working with business data attributes and creating data driven solutions with data integration and effective algorithms for calculating and evaluating Risk and Compliance; Interpreting data on key metrics and obtaining business insights from the data; Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture toward automation; Creating data visualization solutions using leading technologies such as Tableau, QlikSense or excel VBA.

Full-Time. Salary: $151,400 - $185,000 per year.
