DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Consult with product and project management to understand and clarify software and systems requirements. Analyze and discuss software requirements and feasibility. Design and develop, or modify custom applications software to meet functional requirements for new and enhanced proprietary software for the firm's payment processing systems using mathematical models and algorithms to design software. Test and modify completed software to ensure it meets functional requirements and write documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Application/Software Developer, Python Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Application/Software Developer, Python Developer, or related occupation.

Job Location: 3223 Hanover St., Palo Alto, CA 94304. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary: $178,575 - $215,000 per year.
