DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design and develop software applications within mature technology environments. Utilize programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures, and techniques. Perform software troubleshooting and monitoring functions for high transaction rates and low to zero downtime-based applications. Design and maintain design guidelines, coding standards, software methodologies, and processes. Work with other groups both internal and external of JPMC to coordinate design, development, and testing efforts to ensure the successful delivery of the initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Consultant, Technical Manager, System Analyst, Module IT Associate/Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Consultant, Technical Manager, System Analyst, Module IT Associate/Consultant, or related occupation.
