DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases, automation of scenarios, and other test artifacts, including test datasets and data validation. Engage in the design of plans and scenarios, testing, and delivery of the products. Identify the scope for automation in testing and creating frameworks and automation scripts. Develop and assist with the implementation of testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability. Perform native automation (xcuitest) for payment products on iOS devices. Work closely with the Mobile Solution Engineering team to understand the specifics of the application. Responsible for mobile devices, the operating platform on which the application would run, and due considerations. Implement the design pattern page object model (POM). Develop Behavior- Driven Development (BDD) tests by writing features and step definitions. Perform application compatibility testing using different mobile devices for iOS and Android platforms. Integrate the automation framework. Perform root cause analysis to identify and recommend test scope and test approach improvements. Conduct test automation on iOS and Android platforms. Enhance software performance through optimization and efficient algorithms. Trigger build jobs to promote code to higher environments to validate build stability. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software. Maintain version control and repository management for codebase integrity. Continuously improve development processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, I.T. Consultant, Software Developer, Test Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Microservices; J2EE; Jenkins; NodeJS; Spring; CSS; HTML; Java; Javascript; JQuery; Selenium; SQL; XML; Angular; REST; SOAP; Maven; Swift; JSON; Oracle; Splunk; GIT; Cucumber; Junit; Automated Testing; System Integration Testing; White Box Testing.

Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
