DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Lead end-to-end development efforts for complex artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) application features and software development projects. Collect requirements, plan design and development, maintain technical documentation, conduct resiliency tests to withstand application failure, and successfully drive AI/ML application development projects to completion. Review data analysis prepared by junior-level team members, and make technical decisions about resulting design and implementation in order to tackle complex challenges. Serve as IT project administrator responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of software systems. Work with offshore team on AI/ML models in AWS environment, and convert them into APIs for other developers to use. Perform statistical analysis on big data sets. Review coding and development tasks that provide application support in an Agile software development environment. Implement automated integration (TrueCd).

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer/Developer, IT/Software Development Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: developing software for a Microservices environment that deploys as a REST API; developing and automating large-scale, high- performance applications to drive and improve product experience; developing software utilizing Java 17 and Spring Boot; using Maven to resolve application dependencies; building applications that utilize JSON for service payloads; using Kafka Messaging Service to publish records in data lake; performing queries to Cassandra databases to perform transactions; deploying the microservices in on-prem and public Cloud Environments; and performing automated testing using Cucumber & JUNITs to release code using automation.
Job Location: 575 Washington Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07310. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $150,900 - $185,000 per year.
