DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Responsible for end-to-end ownership of all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle including analysis of requirements, detailed design, effort estimation, code features including non-functional requirements, automation, and production implementation. Develop applications, and code for obtaining bean references in Spring Framework. Responsible for using UNIX commands as part of project development and log traceability. Deploy application in the private and public cloud infrastructure. Expose services through API gateway for third party access. Facilitate code reviews. Write automated unit tests using industry standard tools. Generate code coverage and test the middleware components independently. Support the application across multiple environments including development and production environments. Perform risk control-related activities, ensuring that products follow the highest security standards and are free from vulnerabilities. Identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues. Work with feature teams to design, develop and implement high quality software solutions through innovation and engineering best practices. Mentor team members in engineering best practices through hands-on development activities to ensure quality, stability, and reliability of the code.

The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, System Analyst, Application Developer, or related occupation.
