DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and implement automated software test solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Be responsible for Integration, regression and Functional testing of the system thru automated test frameworks.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer/Developer, Test/Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience using the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to solve business problems, including by: participating in planning sessions to analyze business requirements and outline proposed software solutions; incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications; incorporating requirements into designs and information or data flows; developing or enhancing software application modules; and developing software test plans. This position also requires experience with the following skills: creating automated tests for both iOS and Android; building test automation for and implementing testing frameworks on mobile, service-oriented, or Microservice architectures; using Appium, Expresso, and XCuitest to design, develop, and implement software test solutions, maintain testing frameworks, analyze test results, and resolve defects identified during testing; automation scripting using Java and Python; building test pipeline using Git, Jenkins CI, and Cucumber; integrating tests into the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to enable continuous software reliability and performance; conducting code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; Xcode; Android Studios; Java; SwiftUI; Jira; and Agile (SCRUM) testing methodologies.
Job Location: 450 W 33rd Street, New York, New York 10001. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $150,000 - $185,000 per year.
