DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Act as an Asset & Wealth Management Party and Account data subject matter expert (SME). Perform analysis on large amounts of data from multiple and disparate sources. Analyze data and results to ensure data quality with a critical mindset. Research, develop, and implement new methods of measuring and analyzing data sets and processes. Participate in Extract and Transformation and Load design discussions and ETL architecture discussions. Develop technical specification documents and generic/reusable frameworks. Design and code batch data integration. Design and develop ETL real time data integration flows. Work with cloud native applications (12 factors and DevOps practices). Participate in design reviews /code reviews and ensure that all solutions align to pre-defined architectural specifications. Identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues, review and provide feedback to the final user. Assist in developing code migration strategies from one environment to the other. Assume ownership and accountability for the assigned deliverables through all phases of the development lifecycle. Develop and document strategies / standards to support the ETL framework and infrastructure. Responsible for ensuring that risk, controls, security, and data management policies are followed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Big data engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Linux; Unix; Agile SDLC; Hybrid SDLC; Data Architecture Disciplines; Apache Kafka; Jenkins; Python; Shell Scripting; SQL; Maven; Hive; GIT; Blackbox Testing; Functional Testing; Manual testing; Performance Testing; Regression Testing; System Integration Testing; Unit Testing; User Acceptance Testing; AWS cloud services; Oracle; Microservices; and SPARK.
