DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Research, design, architect and implement API into the tech stack. Ensure that resiliency and scalability is built into the system using modern frameworks. Architect the technical underpinning that brings a designers' solutions to reality through navigating various front end components Implement efficient code into the overall infrastructure. Design and implement cloud based solutions for API for Digital applications. Create SRE models for applications in all lower environments and in production environments. Provide production support of applications through bug fixes, patching and maintenance. Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including reviewing business requirements, designing technical solutions building and deploying cloud native web and batch applications, and collaborating with upstream and downstream partners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Technical Architect, Systems Architect, Programmer, Project Leader, Technical Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Unix; Windows; Agile SDLC; Waterfall SDLC; Microservices; Apache Kafka; J2EE; Jenkins; Spring; CSS; HTML; Java; Javascript; Python; Shell Scripting; SQL; Angular; REST; SOAP; Maven; JSON; AWS Cloud Services; Splunk; Junit; Regression Testing; Unit Testing; RESTful and Event driven microservices; and developing and testing E2E implementations.
