As a Senior Product Associate in Personalization & Customer Insights, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.

Chase's Personalization & Customer Insights team is seeking an innovative Technical Product Manager with expertise in Big Data, AI/ML, AWS, and API product development to contribute to the rapidly evolving field of making banking simple, human, and personal. In this role, the candidate will join the Data and ML Platform team, focusing on delivering intelligent personalization to our customers. This involves collaborating with product partners, data scientists, and technology teams throughout the model development lifecycle

Job responsibilities

  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
  • Collaborates closely with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to build and train production-grade ML models on large-scale datasets, addressing various business use cases for different lines of business (LOBs) in the Consumer and Community Bank.
  • Oversees product planning and project management across multiple teams.
  • Engages with LOBs to understand data needs for modeling efforts and partners with Data Providers to acquire necessary data

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
  • Excellent project management skills and motivated to achieve results
  • Structured & strategic thinker, effective communicator with excellent written, presentation and communication skills
  • Experience working with Data Scientist and ML Engineers delivering ML solutions to a production customer facing environment
  • Experience with JIRA, epic/story refinement, epic/story writing, PBR, etc.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Hands on experience with AL/ML solutions
  • BS or MS in Engineering, Data Science, or comparable field of study
  • Strong knowledge of current digital banking trends
  • Experience working with Recommendation Systems or Digital Marketing
