The Card Payment Network team at Chase Card Services is dedicated to leading change and connecting partners through payment network technology expertise. We are the expert technologists and liaisons with our Payment Network Partners (Visa, Mastercard) and serve as the coordination points for Chase Card Services for initiatives, projects, issues, and escalations impacting Chase as issuers. As a Senior Product Associate in the Card Payment Network team at Chase Card Services, you will be involved in analyzing impacts and guiding stakeholders through Payment Network changes that affect Card issuing systems and processes. You will coordinate Chase-sponsored initiatives with Payment Network partners and provide production support and issue escalation, including off-hours support. This role offers you the opportunity to lead and assist cross-functional project teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and make informed decisions to enhance organizational agility.

Job responsibilities

- Lead and assist cross-functional project teams in documenting high-level objectives, business value, scope, and critical success factors.

- Document changes that meet business objectives based on Chase needs and Payment Network requirements.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to recommend process and technology improvements and identify efficiency opportunities.

- Ensure adherence to controls, applicable audit standards, and manage exceptions.

- Resolve issues through mediation, negotiation, or escalation to Directors and Senior Managers.

- Make informed decisions, understanding the boundaries for decision-making and knowing when to escalate.

- Build and leverage relationships within the organization to remove project obstacles and enhance organizational agility.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

- 5+ years of experience in a Business Analysis or similar role at a financial institution or payment network organization.

- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to varied audiences.

- Skilled in business interviewing and resolving conflicting priorities among stakeholders.

- Advanced computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and process mapping software.

- Knowledge of Agile tools (JIRA) and methodologies.

- Proficiency in process analysis or BPM (Business Process Mapping).

- Detailed understanding of Credit Card Payment Network capabilities and functions.
