As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Treasury & Chief Investment office, Corporate technology team, you will be supporting Front office and Middle office group and an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance , build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications

  • Manage the Trade Execution Platform that supports Portfolio Managers and Operations team
  • Ensure the resiliency and security aspects of the Trade Execution Platform
  • Manage projects and programs in collaboration with diverse stakeholders
  • Collaborate directly with Product Owner and Portfolio Managers to deliver solutions for diverse needs and drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
  • Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
  • Adds to the team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
  • Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Experience in overseeing projects and programs from conception to completion, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Strong verbal and written communication to convey ideas, provide feedback and engage with stakeholders.
  • Advanced in Python programming and experience with data analysis tools like Pandas , NumPy for large dataset analysis.
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Strong cloud native experience
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in organization management or leadership roles
  • Application owner experience
  • Advanced knowledge of software applications with artificial intelligence, machine learning
  • Investment Banking products experience mainly with fixed income and derivatives preferably with Quantitative Modeling skills
