DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Advise and lead the overall strategy and development of multiple products, applications and technologies across the Legal technology portfolio. Translate highly complex issues, trends and drive innovation and enable leaders to make strategic, well informed decisions about required target state architecture. Derive adoption and implementation of technical methods in line with the latest product development methodologies and analyze and evaluate other technologies in the market. Ensure that the firm's software is durable, reusable and built with a framework that improves velocity and quality of output. Document and retain architecture diagrams and decisions for future use. Ensure architectures are following processes and document as needed. Lead and manage a team of architects responsible for the day to day architecture oversight of the firm's platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 10 (Ten) years of experience in the job offered or as Senior Director of Architecture, Executive Director - Chief Architect, Executive Director - Head of Architecture and Strategy, Engagement Delivery Lead, Tech Lead/ETL Architect, Associate/Systems Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Creating and adopting data strategy through data lakes or federated data lakes with focus on data products evolution and implementation or Creating and adopting data strategy through data warehousing with focus on data products evolution and implementation or Creating and adopting data strategy through information architecture with focus on data products evolution and implementation; Ensuring technical data quality and business data quality using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ); Modernizing applications using public cloud technologies including AWS, GCP and Azure; Java; Python; Spark; Pyspark; Kafka; ETL tools including Informatica, Ab-Initio, Oracle, DB2, Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau, Power BI, and Business Objects; UI technologies such as Angular or React and their implementation; Implementing and using Spring Boot; Agile and Scrum practices, processes and delivery; Conducting technology evaluations and selection; Documenting technical strategies and design; Ensuring data quality and management of data quality practices and processes; Designing and implementing enterprise systems; Running large portfolio at an enterprise scale. This position also requires knowledge of Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning (AIML).
Job Location: 600 Travis St, Houston, TX 77002. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
