Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze datasets to uncover trends and insights that inform business decisions. Present findings and recommendations to senior management, ensuring a well-maintained inventory of vendor portfolio data for quick response and effective governance.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics, supporting business objectives. Implement proactive heat map processes to enhance communication, escalation, and data protection efforts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights. Design and implement data models to meet these requirements.
  • Investigate issues and provide data-driven insights to expedite problem-solving and enhance decision-making.
  • Create heatmaps to visualize risk categories and evaluate the effectiveness of vendor fee contract terms, particularly in areas like employee experience.
  • Track and visualize outcomes for key global initiatives, categorizing and reporting progress on focus objectives.
  • Conduct spend data analysis for research and forecasting. Partner with the Firmwide P&A transformation team on data organization and database projects.
  • Research procurement and contract data to support renewals and forecasting efforts.
  • Lead vendor discovery and data collection processes, collaborating with finance peers to share insights on expenses and activities.
  • Conduct data quality assessments to ensure data integrity and availability. Perform research and testing to uphold high data standards.
  • Mentor junior analysts and stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics. Occasionally lead special projects focused on problem-solving and innovation.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Python.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong skills in analyzing data, identifying patterns, and solving complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of procurement, contract data analysis, and financial forecasting.
