DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop, test, and deploy applications to non-production environments. Automate deployment and infrastructure pipelines in both on-premises and public cloud environments. Develop enterprise scale application which follow loosely coupled and adhere to well architected framework. Develop the required data pipelines for moving the data from on- premises to AWS and Cloud platforms. Work with product owners to gather requirements, understand, and design scalable and secure applications. Work in an agile environment and deliver features in 2 week sprint cycles. Partner closely with business partners to identify impactful projects, influence key decisions with data, and ensure client satisfaction.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Security Engineer, Java Developer, Software Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Security Engineer, Java Developer, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Java; Python; Spring; Spring MVC; SQL; PL/SQL; pySpark applications for data pipelines; Oracle; MySQL; Docker containers; Kubernetes orchestration with Docker containers; designing and developing applications on AWS which are highly available and fault tolerant; migrating applications from private to public cloud; deploying EC2 instances, ECS, and Lambda functions programmatically to AWS; and building cloud formation templates for infrastructure deployment into AWS.
