Securities Services - Technology Relationship Manager - Vice President

You will be responsible for building relationships with the Client and JPMorgan Partners, establishing trust and understanding with clients through accurate interface delivery and timely incident follow ups. You will need to establish an in-depth knowledge of the Client's Technology interfaces (both current and planned) as well as the JPMorgan Technology architecture (applications and connectivity) and the Client's dependency on it across business products. You will be partnering with JPMorgan Technology (Production Management, Application Development and Technology Infrastructure) and Clients to maintain delivery, analyze, propose and implement enhanced client workflow through deployment of technology solutions across all electronic channels.

Job responsibilities

  • Be fully accountable for technology management with clients
  • Provide leadership and represent JPMorgan's Technology Platform with senior-level executives at clients
  • Build relationships and establish a deep knowledge of Client's Technology (current and future)
  • Understand the JPMorgan Technology architecture and Client's dependency on it across different Business Products, maintain an intimate understanding on interface offerings
  • Lead the navigation of the JPMorgan Technology Organization on behalf of Client for both BAU and for change
  • Collaborate with JPMorgan Technology teams (Production Management, Application Development and Technology Infrastructure) to maintain quality and stable delivery to Clients
  • Establish trust and understanding with clients through quality data interface delivery
  • Drive resolution and management of client queries, requests and delivery issues
  • Deliver accurate and quicker Technology interface change- by getting it right first time
  • Drive client and JPMorgan Change(Technology Upgrades, Product Development, Application migrations) including end-to-end workflow validation
  • Improve Client Satisfactionon Technology Delivery, ability to foresee Technology related issuesand to drive resolution to mitigate visible impact to client
  • Protect revenue from existing clients and enable future business product delivery through quality stable Technology delivery Facilitate RFPsthrough deeper understanding of the client's Technology across Products

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 10+ years previous experience in Technology for Financial and Banking sector working as part of a team delivering technology and data solution in financial services industry
  • Strong English & Chinese language fluency (fluent in Putonghua)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering or Business
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable in dealing with data
  • Experienced to end to end investment trade lifecycle, data connectivity and reporting, including trade status, investment accounting, liquidity management and data analytics.
  • Strong end to end ownership, governance, controls, risks, and dependency management
  • Self-starter. Ability to work independently with full accountability, and as leader of a team. Self-motivated
  • Focuses on accountability, action, and outcomes with commercial mindset that balances with deliverables to the firm's mission and goals
  • Effective problem solver, experienced in making sound judgment and effective decisions under stress and complex environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Cross product data structure on Fund Accounting, Custody, Securities Lending and OTC derivatives products
  • Experienced in complex program/project delivery data/system integration initiatives
  • In tune to regulatory, industry & infrastructure developments
