Securities Services Product Management - Custody Product Manager- Associate

This role is a part of the Global Custody Product Management team, where you'll be responsible for the strategy, governance, and P&L of the client base. You'll work closely with the Sales team and internal teams on pricing strategies and deal specifics. The role involves data analysis, supporting analytics programs, portfolio analysis, and pricing definition. It requires end-to-end ownership and collaboration with Custody Product teams globally. Based in Mumbai, this role is a part of the broader Securities Services team.

As a Securities Services Product Management - Custody Product Manager- Associate within the Custody Product Team, you will be responsible for the strategy, end to end ownership, governance and P&L of the client base. You will work closely with the Sales team and internal teams to focus on pricing strategies with clients and deal specifics. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with Custody Product teams across global locations and requires a strong focus on business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engaging actively in commercial discussions on deals/reprices, alongside sales, including working on RFPs, due diligence, pricing model.
  • Creating deal models (includes both new deals & re-bids) for EMEA clients and provide ad-hoc support for other segments as required.
  • Collating data, portfolio modelling and the creation of proposed price points and presentation of the pricing strategy/recommendation to defend fees and win new mandates at optimal margin.
  • Engaging with stakeholders with associated client profitability, financial and operational efficiency metrics, balance sheet usage etc. for the Global Custody product
  • Creating presentation materials to facilitate regular communication and updates to senior business stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience with a sound academic record. Knowledge of Custody will help but is not a must requirement.
  • Strong data analytic skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, amongst others to communicate and present information. .
  • Good collaboration skills, able to work with many different individuals and partner effectively with different groups.
  • Strong focus on business outcomes and ability to influence different teams to deliver business results.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience of working on analytical /data driven projects will be a big advantage for the candidate.
  • Commercial focus and able to understand the business P&L
  • Communication and presentation skills with a capability to deliver concise clear messages, relating both quantitate analysis results and value proposition and strategy for deal approach.
  • Working knowledge of Tableau & Alteryx are preferred
  • Demonstrate good understanding client needs and how this impacts the product value proposition and positioning in deal proposals to clients (RFPs)
