As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of core product enhancements and targeted tactical and strategic solutions to meet the needs of our clients, evolving markets and best in class Custody products. The Product Development Team also maintains and expands subject matter expertise, providing thought leadership in the Custody product space.

Based in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for delivering the APAC Custody Roadmap and on Global Investment Initiative programs and aligned to the strategic roadmap for the Custody business.

  • Delivery of strategic Custody Investment Initiatives and the Custody roadmap
  • Planning initiative delivery timeframes, refining budgetary requirements and ensuring completion of projects and key milestones within agreed budget and timeframes
  • Establish governance framework to ensure stakeholders, sponsors and impacted parties receive relevant and timely communication within required standards.
  • Work with functional partners including Product Management, Technology, Client Services, Network Management and other Operational areas to deliver agreed solutions
  • Plan and coordinate test phases as required, ensuring success criteria clearly defined and clearly met at test conclusion
  • Strive for robust strategic solutions, encourage others to think strategically and leverage full intellectual capability of subject matter experts and program team
  • Present project objectives, progress and benefits to varied audiences including senior management, J.P. Morgan clients and functional partners

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Results orientated and drive results through people, communication, influence management and interactions. Demonstrates a proven track record of delivering strategic projects
  • Strong analytical skills with complementary communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize workloads, and manage multiple streams of work concurrently
  • Be personally accountable for achieving key milestones on a development roadmap
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Confident communicator in all mediums across varied audiences combined with the ability to interact with senior executives
  • Be able to move initiatives forward in a cross-functional, multi-locational and matrixed organizational model
  • Ability to make considered decisions based upon fact and business / industry knowledge
  • High levels of integrity, operating based on open and honest interaction
  • Be a strong team player and an ability to work in teams distributed across the globe

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • You will ideally have worked in Securities Services or Treasury Services environment for a minimum of 5+ years in Product Management, Product Development, or Project Management role.
