Job Summary:
As a Securities Services - Agency Securities Finance Trader - Vice President within JPMorgan Chase & Co Agency Securities Finance team, you will be part of a broad and diversified business. You will manage the risk and profitability of a designated trading book, maximizing risk-adjusted revenues for our underlying beneficial owners, and analyzing client portfolios and parameters to deploy collateral in an optimum manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maximizing risk-adjusted revenues for our underlying beneficial owners, analyzing client portfolios and parameters to deploy collateral in an optimum manner
- Structuring, pricing and execution of trade structures and solutions, across both discretionary and client directed book
- Build a rounded knowledge of the Agency Securities Finance (ASF) Financing Solutions product and how different trade structures can be leveraged in conjunction with discretionary business to position the book and drive returns for beneficial owners
- Extract and interpolate data to further understand pricing. Keeping up to date on regulatory developments and understanding potential impacts on the trading book
- Work with desk head to own the revenue/plan and forecasting for product/book. Articulation of revenue variances including market developments/events that could result in a deviation
- Maintain a detailed awareness of counterparty funding requirements (across asset classes, collateral and tenor structures). Acute understanding of borrower constraints and ability to provide solutions and position trading book to drive revenue generation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product, Legal, Relationship Management and Operations - idea generation, input to trading strategy and direction around client messaging
- Coordinating the execution process across multiple (x-regional) desks and taking a lead in directing trading strategy
- Managing and developing Client relationships - ability to interact both verbally and via IB to provide market colour, strategic direction and highlighting opportunities and risks

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Prior experience in market facing role
- Collateral trading experience across structures including xccy, upgrades/downgrades, contingent liquidity
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Proven experience in relationship management (ability to grow and monetize)
- Must be an excellent team player with a strong work ethic
- Intellectually curious with strong interpersonal/relationship building skills
- Must be self-motivated, have a proven ability to multi-task and deliver in a high-pressure environment
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
