As a Vice President Risk Credit Officer overseeing Servicing operations within Home Lending, you will be instrumental in helping JPMorgan Chase grow its business responsibly. You will leverage your expert judgment to anticipate new and emerging risks, addressing real-world challenges that impact our company, customers, and line of business supported. Job Responsibilities:
- Work independently and collaboratively as a key team member, effectively engaging with colleagues from various disciplines such as Technology, Compliance, Legal, and Controls, while showcasing strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Evaluate and consolidate risks across diverse lines of business.
- Contribute to business projects as assigned.
- Support the annual controls testing and reporting processes as required.
- Offer an independent and objective perspective on the business or function's control environment, mitigation strategies, and emerging risks.
- Comprehend the risk profile as evaluated by the business, along with key risk and performance indicators, to identify negative trends and potential control gaps.
- Effectively challenge and influence senior business leaders.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Technical expertise including proficiency in data analytics, incident management, application testing, quality control, and change management.
- Strong skills in communication, presentation, project management, and leadership are essential.
- Solid understanding of agency and regulatory requirements related to mortgage servicing.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret compliance and regulatory requirements.
