As a Credit Office Specialist in Commercial Term Lending, you will be the central point of contact for our Northwest Credit origination hub. You will be responsible for managing commercial real estate loan assignments and supporting the Credit Analysis and Review team by proactively solving problems to ensure effective operations. The duties will require initiative, independent judgment, and the ability to work well with the team and business partners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the potential to grow and take on more advanced positions within the organization

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor department loan pipeline, keeping Credit and business partners apprised of status
  • Manage Credit staff loan assignments, ensuring optimal efficiency.
  • Support credit analysis by gathering financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in the evaluation of creditworthiness.
  • Lead or participate in special projects aimed at improving departmental processes.
  • Coordinate and manage logistics of internal meetings.
  • Manage general office needs such as facility requests and ordering supplies.
  • Coordinate and assist in planning internal events.
  • Maintain and organize department electronic files on shared drive.
  • Oversee training of a back-up Credit Office Specialist.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate industry.
  • Strong business communication skills with an ability to work well in a collaborative environment including other internal departments.
  • Effective at working independently with meticulous attention to detail, strong organization and time management skills.
  • Identify issues in a timely manner, formulate and propose effective solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft desktop tools including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing business needs, with a proactive approach to personal and professional development.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, lead projects, and influence others positively.
  • Identify issues in a timely manner, formulate and propose effective solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft desktop tools including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point.
