As an Audit & Exam Management Control Manager Vice President in Risk Management, you will be responsible for managing the Audit & Exam schedule for the Auto & Dealer Commercial Services (DCS) Risk team. This includes coordinating, reviewing and submitting responses from Internal Audit and External Regulatory agencies. You will also be responsible for the reporting of Audits & Exams across the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Risk Controls & Governance organization as well as the identification of trends and themes. This position offers the opportunity to interact with Auto & DCS Risk executives as well as with key leaders from CCB Risk QA, Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, Credit Review and cross-LOB Risk Control Partners. You will coordinate all requests for information from examiners, auditors and credit review teams and work with Risk partners and subject matter experts to collect, review and submit timely responses.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage Auto & DCS Risk Exam calendar. Proactively review the Exam calendar and internal reporting to ensure that the Auto & DCS Risk teams are prepared for any upcoming reviews.
  • Work closely with Risk partners to respond to Audit & Exam requests. Review responses and provide feedback for completeness and accuracy.
  • Manage CCB Risk Controls & Governance exam calendar and reporting.
  • Provide strategic, clear, and regular updates to management regarding significant matters, including potential issues requiring timely escalation and resolution.
  • Engage and develop effective partnerships with Senior Risk leaders, Compliance teams, Oversight and Controls, Legal, Internal Audit and Operations.
  • Partner with the broader CCB Risk Control team to identify and analyze trends and remediation plans that are identified across multiple engagements and then work with Risk and other partners to ensure they are appropriately and consistently addressed.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum 5 year's experience in Controls
  • Strong working knowledge of compliance, audit, risk and operational management concepts.
  • Strong project management and process skills; ability to prioritize and execute on multiple, simultaneous, complex priorities.
  • Ability to review documentation and provide executive summary overviews and trending analysis.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with fluid regulatory and business requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate and develop relationships with Risk partners in addition to Legal, Compliance and Regulatory teams
  • Ability to understand various processes across CCB Risk
  • Self-starter and results-oriented individual that can deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
