As a Retail Program Manager within our Amenity Services team , you'll play a pivotal role in creating a vibrant, engaging environment for our employees and visitors. This senior role involves defining and executing the retail and office pantry strategy in collaboration with vendor partners and industry relationships to enhance the employee experience. You will report directly to the Amenity Services General Manager and work closely with various corporate partners, including Human Resources, Communications, Facilities, Security, and Executive Leadership. Job Responsibilities
- Develop and manage retail standards and vendor relationships for a 60-floor office tower.
- Lead the strategy and innovation for coffee bars and office markets, including Starbucks Licensed Stores.
- Collaborate on concept development, menu creation, and technology integration to create brand relevance.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and business metrics to refine program strategies and ensure program effectiveness.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost controls, and vendor performance against contractual requirements.
- Ensure compliance with risk, sanitation guidelines, and regional policies, overseeing risk and compliance activities.
- Act as the primary liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders, resolving issues swiftly within tight deadlines.
- Execute training programs on brand, customer service excellence, and new services/programs.
- Partner with finance on reporting, competitive analysis, market reviews, and benchmarking exercises.
- Drive innovation in pantry, coffee, and technology to incorporate the latest trends, including digital tools and contactless payment systems.
Required qualifications , capabilities and skills
- 10+ years of relevant food service experience in a restaurant or business environment.
- Strong client focus and excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Business management and analytical skills, including business case writing.
- Experience in vendor team management and multi-unit operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Word).
- Long-term program strategy development and project management expertise.
- Interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Budget management, accountability, and crisis management/problem-solving skills
Preferred qualifications , capabilities and skills
- Experience in a financial institution environment.
- Experience collaborating with corporate partners such as Human Resources, Communications, and Facilities.
- Experience in overseeing retail and merchandise programs.
- Knowledge of competitive landscape and industry trends.
- Experience in managing vendor performance against KPIs and conducting quarterly business reviews.
- Ability to develop and implement risk and compliance activities.
- Experience in executing training programs and managing service model product lines.
- Ability to analyze metrics and provide business case reviews to key stakeholders.
- Experience in technology integration, including mobile ordering and self-service kiosks.
- Ability to manage budgets within a complex financial structure and support partnership discussions.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
