Regional Operations Lead, Document and Business Solutions, Executive Director

Document and Business Solutions (DBS) is a global organization providing document products and services to all internal business units globally. DBS products include Print, Mail, Image Capture, Content Creation, Secure Records and Transportation, all of which are supported by a portfolio of applications and tools to assist with everyday business tasks.

As a Regional Operations Director, you will be the regional lead and report directly to the Global Lead. You will be responsible to manage operations at multiple locations across a large geographic area. As a leader, your results-focused, visionary, influential, and a process-disciplined individual with strong people skills and leadership abilities.

You will create a culture of effective management, and develop great leaders. You will ensure a healthy balance delivering both strategic and tactical objectives. You will play a vital role in delivering an extraordinary customer experience and will be responsible for driving the growth of the business across the region.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage, lead and oversight of back office operations across multiple countries
  • Ensure that all employees are following policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant environment
  • Collaborate with partners firm-wide to provide a seamless experience for our employees
  • Work with the products teams to develop our technology and product offering to best meet employee needs
  • Develop regional strategy to achieve key financial targets, including expense management
  • Coach and develop great leaders
  • Recruit and retain excellent talent
  • Conduct detailed business reviews with senior stakeholders
  • Ensure talent and performance strategies are in place to attract, retain, and develop diverse employees by identifying and developing managers who build high performing teams
  • Set a people agenda that delivers an exceptional employee experience, with a strong commitment to valuing our employees in every interaction
  • Set the tone of commitment to diversity and inclusion

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum of Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years proven experience coaching and managing multiple layers of management and employees in an organization
  • Experienced in managing a minimum of 5 teams, and managers, across multiple countries
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, planning skills and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically to deliver on the transformational initiatives required to accomplish results in a complex and changing business.
  • Must possess proactive thinking and approach capable of identifying critical aspects, identifying potential problems and also the ability to take definitive and appropriate corrective actions.
  • Expertise and passion for process innovation, design, and digital technology with proven success delivering complex, large scale initiatives. Excellent strategic vision; understands the direction of the business and industry; can articulate vision to motivate and influence others
  • Proven ability to lead through change to support culture of accepting missteps in order to achieve success
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and to proactively collaborate with all other areas of the organization, including senior stakeholders
  • Ability to develop a diverse team and source and attract internal and external talent by building and maintaining personal network of contacts
  • Creates a climate in which people want to do their best; motivates and empowers others by inviting input from each person and sharing ownership and visibility
