The JPMorgan Chase Corporate Third Party Oversight (CTPO) team is responsible for developing, deploying, overseeing and ongoing reporting of the firmwide programs that ensures the effective use of third parties and inter-affiliates to accomplish JPMorgan Chase's strategic goals. This includes building awareness of the programs at the firm and ensuring consistency globally across both the LOB's and corporate groups. It also includes understanding and dissemination of regulatory requirements and reporting to regulators on the program and status. The major focus of the program is to ensure our third parties are performing to the same high standards that JPMorgan Chase holds itself accountable to including client service, quality, control, regulatory compliance, business resiliency and protection of information.

As a Regional Corporate Third Party Oversight Governance, Vice President in Global Supplier Services, you report functionally to the APAC CTPO Regional Governance Lead. As a Vice President, you will assist your Manager to deliver in the regional examination, regulatory support, execute on the critical Regional program objectives and achieve the key responsibilities of the team.

Job responsibilities:

  • Support audit requirements as directed by the APAC CTPO Regional Governance lead, in conjunction with the business, SOS/IOS, SAS, project or location teams.
  • Support regulatory reviews on outsourcing as directed by the APAC CTPO Regional Governance Lead.
  • Support the APAC CTPO Regional Governance Lead in the scoping of regional needs including local regulatory requirements and identify any regional gaps in processes, tools, etc.
  • Prepare materials and supporting documentation to assist the APAC CTPO Regional Governance Lead for management meetings, awareness sessions, regional activities and ad hoc forums as required.
  • Lead meetings with key SMEs in the region and provide follow-ups to support the regional APAC CTPO Regional Governance Lead.
  • Support the implementation of the strategic tools and ensure the regional variances are accommodated.
  • Support and lead APAC projects such as the Regulatory guidance reviews, Pilots & End to End reviews and share the outcomes to help improve the CTPO program.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in APAC outsourcing regulations and outsourcing governance.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management experience up to and including c-suite
  • Knowledge of risk management and control principles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing audits and regulatory reviews (RFI's etc.)
  • Proactive, self-starter with the ability to navigate complex businesses and exercise the right judgment in joining the dots up to the right outcomes
  • Proficiency in Mandarin language to support the firm's China, Taiwan and Singapore Operations, with the ability to articulate complex and sensitive issues to management
  • Strong business analysis skills to enable efficient, accurate and objective decision-making.
  • Ability to partner closely with related functions (Sourcing, Legal & Compliance, Audit, etc.) to ensure a coordinated and effective program.
  • Team player with ability to build strong cross-business relationships - proven flexibility, adaptability and reliability.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
