As a Reconciliation Manager II within the Securities Services Operations team, you are responsible for end to end process management & flawless delivery of process, accountable for proper change management & process improvement. Continuously develop industry/product knowledge. Ability to understand customer segments and apply different servicing approaches based on customer knowledge level. Implement development plans for staff. You will have the ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines. Can effectively work in teams.
Job responsibilities:
- Manage the workflow through the Trade life cycle, handling exceptions and ensuring closure.
- Investigate and validate reconciliation breaks between FA and Custody.
- Maximize team capacity through effective resource planning, training, and succession planning.
- Ensure completion and sign-off of daily controls, client service inquiries, and production of key metrics.
- Own and escalate issues related to the Asset Services Department to Operational and Risk leads.
- Ensure adherence to global escalation policies, RED policies, and compliance with ethics and behavior standards.
- Execute BAU to high standards, publish weekly KPIs/KRIs, and track deviations and ageing items.
- Maintain end-to-end process responsibility, including control of end-of-day and critical intra-day reports.
- Assist in preparing and implementing Business Continuity Plans and improve productivity benchmarks.
- Collaborate with VP for communication with partner locations and conduct performance appraisals.
- Provide leadership, ensure effective communication of strategic and regulatory changes, and maintain updated SOPs.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Graduate with 8-9 years of experience, capable of working under pressure and making accurate decisions in stressful situations.
- Demonstrates initiative, readily questions, and possesses strong problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate teams, with a client-focused and proactive, positive approach.
- Exhibits good time management skills and attention to detail, with an appreciation of risk and quality issues.
- Control-oriented with the ability to grasp and learn concepts and procedures quickly.
- Capable of working independently, using initiative to address challenges effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus on quality and risk management.
