DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and execute code to define customer population in servicing and marketing campaigns. Develop code based on the technical specification to extract and process large volumes of customer and account data. Maintain proper data control environment and work closely with Quality Validation and Control teams to ensure compliance with legal, marketing, and data use rules. Research data elements used for targeting using database metadata. Collaborate with business partners to gather targeting requirements for a campaign and establish strong business partnerships with other members of project teams. Develop and validate audit plan, such as data validations to ensure targeted populations meet requirements. Perform code quality reviews, suggest process improvements, and assist in updating the department's documentation. Identify relationships and trends in data, as well as any factors that could affect results of the campaign. Communicate impacts to business partners and provide sample sizes per category to validate all components extracted and derived fields created. Prepare campaigns for post-processing Analytics and Reporting teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field of study plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as Quantitative Analytics, Analytics, Credit Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Quantitative Analytics, Analytics, Credit Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Using SAS Data Step and SQL JOIN operations to combine data from different tables; Manipulating large amounts of data using SAS procedures including Proc Freq, Proc Format, Proc Sort, Proc SQL, and Proc Summary, as well as SAS data step programming; working with databases and millions of records including Oracle, Teradata, or DB2; Extracting data from databases, flat files, and external APIs using SAS and SQL; Writing SQL queries to retrieve specific data sets from relational databases; cleaning and pre-processing raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency; Relational Databases; Integrating data from multiple sources to create comprehensive data sets for analysis; PUTTY; Unix; Excel using Basic Formulas, Pivot tables and charts; Word using Basic page set up, editing and text formatting functions; MS Teams using Managing pages, Uploading and editing documents; autosys (automation); Shell Scripting.

Full-Time. Salary: $125,500 - $150,000 per year.
