As a Quant Analytics Senior Associate in the Monitoring and Testing team, you will be an integral part of our global team. You will collaborate with Control Managers, Product, Technology, Operations, Audit, and Compliance teams to design and implement control testing and issue validation processes. Job responsibilities

  • Conduct independent assessments of the design and effectiveness of controls executed by business lines and corporate functions through monitoring and testing activities.
  • Validate compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external laws, rules, and regulations, identifying any necessary remediation.
  • Execute issue validations to ensure the effectiveness of action plans implemented by Lines of Business (LOBs) and Corporate Functions.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Operational Risk Officers on engagements, including developing test scripts, discussing issues, participating in business meetings, and drafting final reports.
  • Utilize independent judgment, technical, operational, and regulatory experience to perform tasks effectively.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Controls, Compliance, Internal or External Audit, or Risk functions.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and the ability to assess risk mitigation considering business processes and characteristics.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Alteryx, Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and a multicultural understanding.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and personable, with excellent communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and operate with minimal supervision
