As a Quant Analytics Manager, Vice President you will be a key member of the Connected Enablement Payments Analytics team within the broader CCB Data and Analytics organization. You will work closely with Payments Product Owners to deliver insights in terms of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. In particular, you will be both hands on key board as well as providing oversight and instruction to strive to build consensus with Product Owners and their tech teams on if, where, when, how, and whom to drive customer engagement by defining metrics, sourcing data, developing queries, and creating reports that are applicable to the products controls space.

Quant Analysts combine analytic skills with specific domain knowledge to make data actionable allowing for ease of consumption. They translate between analytic and non-analytic groups as well as facilitate holistic, cross-functional learning. They collaborate, learn, teach and disseminate knowledge across the D&A community.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to progam manage multiple product stakeholders and their book of work
  • Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions
  • Create data points using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy
  • Rationalize complex normalized data sets allowing for ease of cross org consumption
  • Partner closely and collaborate with Product teams, Data management teams, Strategy teams, Technology Teams and broader D&A organization resources across multiple functional units to understand business requirements and objectives
  • Translate data into meaningful insights and present a compelling story to stakeholders for decision making
  • Bring in experience in the production, optimization and automation of recurrent reports
  • Hands on experience training, supporting and providing oversight to a small team

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Knowledge of SQL, Alteryx orTableau; ability to pull data using multiple joins, sub-queries, and advanced functions in an enterprise-scale database environment
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics
  • Adept at explaining and converting complex concepts into digestible information to be consumed by audiences of varying levels of expertis
  • Being able to demonstrate initiative, completing projects/tasks independently is highly desire
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to train, manage team members; Project management/coordination experience
  • Operational business knowledge of processes, data, controls, and technology platforms; Customer stakeholder & communication management skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelors with 8+ years of analytics experience
  • Degree in quantitative or related field preferred
  • Functional industry experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology or finance
  • Intermediate knowledge of Machine Learning
  • Experience with visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation
  • Intermediate skills with JIRA, Confluence
  • Familiarity with Cloud (AWS, Snowflake) based data solutions and tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
