As a Quant Analytics Associate Senior within the Lending Innovation Data & Analytics team, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners to deliver insights through descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. Your proficiency in SQL for data extraction, descriptive analytics, and dashboard creation will be essential in defining metrics, sourcing data, developing queries, and creating reports. With a background in statistics or computer science, you will support the team's growth into advanced data science, machine learning, and AI projects as the role evolves.

  • Collaborate with Product and Data & Analytics (D&A) teams to define objectives and deliverables.
  • Perform descriptive analytics to summarize key findings and trends using SQL and Python.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide insights through data visualization and reporting.
  • Apply statistical methods, predictive/prescriptive modeling, Generative AI, and other machine learning techniques to address business challenges such as price optimization, funnel optimization, and response measurements.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or any Engineering field involving significant quantitative research and data analysis.
  • 6+ years of experience with excellent SQL and Python skills.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team of at least 2-3 analysts.
  • Excellent critical and analytical thinking skills.
  • Strong background in statistical analysis and coding.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and frameworks (e.g., React, Dash).
  • Capable of defining metrics, evaluating results, and drawing business insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake) for data storage and computing
  • Knowledge of A/B testing and experimental design
