Quant Analyst Senior Analyst - Product Analytics

You will use your data analysis skills in support of the Customer Claims & Disputes Journey. The Claims Disputes & Fraud Operations Product Analytics (CDFO) team is part of the Consumer & Community banking (CCB) Operations Analytics Team and is responsible for data and analysis in support of the Disputes/Claims journey re-design.

As a Quant Analyst Senior Associate within the CDFO Team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the Disputes/Claims experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with partners across the CDFO Product team, such as Finance, Customer Experience, UX/UI Design, Software Engineering, and Product Owners. You will be involved in the comprehensive analytics of the Disputes Journey, which includes constructing and revising the business case, scoping analysis, developing hypotheses, gathering data, analyzing performance, generating insights, and contributing to the creation of presentations to communicate findings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build holistic insights using a mix of customer, account, digital, financial and operational data sets
  • Import, clean, transform and validate data from multiple sources in preparation for analytics and/or modeling
  • Develop business cases, size addressable populations & estimate potential impact on proposed measurement plans
  • Scope, implement & track new features and enhancements to the disputes/claims journey
  • Identify customer interactions and events across a variety of channels to better understand customer journeys and friction points
  • Leverage a variety of analytical and statistical applications (Alteryx, Tableau, Excel, SQL, Python, etc.) to describe, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets.
  • Aid in presentations summarizing sharp insights and conclusions, often for executives

Required Qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience doing hands-on data analysis
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, data analysis, and segmentation techniques
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and analytical tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, etc.
  • Self-sufficiency in querying and extracting data from Enterprise databases (Snowflake, Oracle etc.)
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Advanced degree is desired with preferred concentrations in Math, Statistics, or Analytics
  • Operational knowledge of Claims & Disputes of transactions is a plus.
  • Experience with financial business cases a plus.

No relocation support is offered for this role, Hybrid work schedule - 3 days in office
