Job Summary:
As a Credit Proposal Quality Control Specialist in the Wholesale Lending Services team, you will ensure the highest quality standards in credit proposal reviews. You will evaluate and report inconsistencies between supporting documentation and proposal data, contributing to our goal of delivering best-in-class products and services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform quality reviews across key credit processes, focusing on credit proposals.
- Build expertise and apply foundational principles to additional disciplines.
- Ensure proper controls are in place to minimize operating risk.
- Manage production queues, exception reporting, and KPIs.
- Engage with technology partners to drive database improvements.
- Build effective relationships with Operations, Credit, Control, and Technology teams.
- Prepare ad hoc reports for control organizations, audits, or business partners.
- Research and analyze data for various projects.
- Assist with the implementation of CORE.
- Participate in discussions to improve the quality environment within WLS.
- Represent the QC team in internal working groups.
- Analyze facility setups in iCRD to ensure alignment with supporting documentation.
- Action organizational requests, queries, and issues accurately and timely.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of financial services, audit, accounting control, regulatory, or compliance experience.
- Knowledge of financial services industry practices, including lending and loan processing.
- Demonstrated decision-making skills.
- Working knowledge of credit products such as revolving lines of credit and term loans.
- Attention to detail and ability to interpret and apply information.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with integrity and objectivity.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks.
- Team-oriented with information-sharing capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access.
- Familiarity with ICRD, Party Central, I-Vault, DealWorks, CRRT.
- Experience reading and interpreting loan and/or compliance documentation.
